Hastings town centre and Old Town are distinct from neighbouring St Leonards-on-Sea. Warrior Square, Norman Road and Kings Road are in St Leonards; Silverhill straddles an area where exact address and town attribution matter. Conquest Hospital is in St Leonards-on-Sea, serving Hastings and the surrounding area. Battle is a separate town: the Battle of Hastings in 1066 took place in the area near Battle, not in Hastings town centre.
